Router recommendation

Recently got Gigapower and my current router is a bottle neck. Looking at moving away from consumer routers and the Ubiquiti ERPoe‑5 has my eye.

Looking for opinions from people that have used some of their routers and if anyone has alternative I should be looking at as well.

Not too keen on pFsense, but can be persuaded.

Have my EdgeRouterLite for an year and i simply forgot it exists.

Good tip, I currently keep the modem and router plugged in to my UPS.

ClearOS and Sophos UTM are good easy to set up alternatives to pfsense. I would choose ClearOS over Sophos though unless you want to spend a ton of time trying to configure everything you need to be able to get through. It is super locked down by default.

Right now I am back on a "consumer" router.. a TP-Link Archer C5400.. and they have a model above this one, the AD7200
