Ok heres the problems. I have a microsoft router wireless B and cable connection with two computers one running 98 and one with ME. I can run one when directly plugged into the cable modem and I can access the routers menu when plugged into the router. For something reason the cable modem doesn't work when plugged into the slot on the router marked for the cable modem (i get no pc activity when plugged into it) but I can get the ME machine to work when its plugged into the first regular slot. I don't know whats wrong. The ME machine will go online but the 98 machine won't. Though I can access the routers menu and its says the 98 machine is the only one connect on the DHCP server and that the broadband is disconnected.
