Rise of the Tomb Raider (PC): Game won't find my internet connection

Have Rise of the Tomb Raider
PC version
PC connected via max WiFi signal
Can play other online games just fine
Playing through Steam
"The connection to the network has beenm lost. Please check your network conenction, or visit tombraider.com."
Any tips?

You're not missing out on much. Just friends scores vs yours I think

This kind of answer pisses me off so much... Doesn't help at all.

For a real answer,
Check to be sure noen of your firewalls are blocking it, including windows firewall, router, and even some antivirus applications.

and your totally generic firewalls/router solution is gonna help..

at least i gave a response, thread was silent for almost 2 weeks

Any tips?

It usually takes a few minutes to get connected on my machine. Usually if I just start up the in-game benchmark it will connect.
