I think this is only for 24 hours but Amazon has just the ring by itself for $150+... spent an hour watching reviews and basically the unit is as good as your wifi, so if you have a big house like me seemed a no-brainer to get this deal.

I am no expert but believe the Ring 2 is just the newer version of the original Ring doorbell.

I have the original, and it takes a good 10 seconds for it to turn on and start recording when it detects motion. So basically i have cloud storage filled up with the backs of people's heads.

I can tell you that the Skybell HD is much quicker, but still not without it's faults lol. Love the idea of these devices, but the implementation of most is shit.. ;~(

Well my friend had Arlo camera's and they were similar, he upgraded to Arlo pro's and the response time is now like 1 second, maybe 2. So there's hope.
