Researchers have figured out that teens like Instagram more than old people. It would seem that adults are less likely than teens to give a crap about what people are posting on Instagram. Whodathunkit?

“Teens want to be very popular so they’re very conscious of the likes they’re getting,” says Dongwon Lee, an associate professor in the school’s College of Information Sciences and Technology. He and his colleagues have published several papers about how social media behaviors vary by age, and his research focuses more broadly on like-mediated interactions in social environments.
 
I can guess your age by just guessing. It's easier than going to Instagram.

Ditto. I don't think I've ever liked anything Instagram or posted anything to Instagram.

I never understood the purpose of it. It's just some dumb filters. I process my images (if I need to) with real imaging software, not some dumbed down social media crap.
