Research help - surround sound

My HTPC has the "Optical SPDIF OUT " connection and supports 8 channels of both Dolby and DTS high quality audio.

The quick trip to Frys and Best Buy will only provide the theater system that includes the bluray player etc. Im just looking for the nice amp and speaker set. The main purpose will be to play Great Surround Audio from my bluray collection on my HTPC.

Does anyone know of any systems or websites that will help point me in the right direction.

I currently have old Creative Inspire 6.1 6600 system. Remember these from back in 2003?

Since you're buying a new receiver, you might as well go all the way and get one with HDMI inputs, and buy an ATI 5000 series graphics card for your HTPC. That way you can push the high-def formats (LCPM, Dolby TrueHD, DTS-HD MA) to your receiver instead of plain DTS or DD over SPDIF.
