Is there a way for me to request my user name to be changed? I'd like to hold on to the posts I've made before and not just create a new user.

Any particular reason why? I maintain a vbulletin board for my own website, and it's just a couple clicks to change. I'm guessing the reason is once you let one of us do it, we'll all want it :)

Pretty much. I'm guessing your board's membership is probably a tad smaller than [H]. ;)
 
You're exactly right....I have had literally more than a thousand requests over the years. We have had over 105,000 members register overall and I would guess that about half would want a name change at some point or another. A decision was made long ago that unless it served the board's purposes, name changes would not be made as a general rule.

Just a smidge. It's for professional use only though. Not as free and liberal as [H] ;)
