The front panel and the drive bays are integrated. You slide out the drive trays by pulling the entire front panel straight out away from the rest of the machine. There's a whole bunch of screws and a bunch of tabs. Its a puzzle. It is a reel ball buster. I am an onsite technician and it always takes me a half hour just to get the drive bays out.
