I have *TONS* of experience doing this on Linux but absolutely zero on Windows server.

I have a buddy that's set up a WHS and he has a self-signed cert he'd like to use with it. I found articles on doing this process on full Windows Server but those assume that IIS7 has *no* certificates installed. I was at his house earlier and it looks like WHS already has some kind of certificate installed. How do I replace it?

I started mucking with it and there "bindings" and other things that I'm not familiar with. I don't want to bork his machine because (a) he is a good friend (b) his wife is hot (c) he has a kegerator that I enjoy.

a) Get certificate/key and assign to the computer account personal certificate store
b) Assign cert to IIS website relevant binding
c) Drink beer

Thanks. I ended up figuring this out on my own, actually. It was, surprisingly, much easier than I thought.

What miffed me a bit was that after doing a bunch of other work on WHS, he ended up deciding he wanted to use Ubuntu Server. So, I spent a lot of the weekend helping him do that.
