Removing Molex Crimp pins from the carrier strip (Is there an easy way?)

The pins I bought from Molex are on a carrier strip and I don't have their special ($$$) crimp tool to remove and crimp the pins properly. I have a cheap one I bought from Jameco years ago and it seems to crimp the pins and they hold the wire and don't pull off and look OK
now on to my question is there an easy way to remove the pins from the carrier strip without damaging them (I have been using a pair of wire cutters but that seems to damage more of them then It gets them off in usable condition

I would suggest diagonal cutters, or sheet metal shears.

I have a pair of these flush cutters that work beautifully for that kind of thing.
