Remove Dell Backup and Recovery Manager?

Does anyone know how to get rid of that damn Backup and Recovery Manager on new Dell machines?

I uninstalled it, removed from startup and deleted the startup registry key.

Did you remember to make recovery disc before wiping it out?

Delete it from the folder in C:\dell. I believe just a small tray application is left once you uninstall the Dell Data Protection software (unless it's separate).

That application lets your recover the computer. I'd have left it but I would have figured out how to disable the crap that runs in the system tray. You should still be able to use the recovery from the F8 menu, though so I wouldn't worry about it.
