Well I was working on a computer for a client of mine and used my secondary monitor's analog output to the computer I was working on so I can just hit "Source" to switch back between digital and analog sources.

Then at some point when I was working as I was switching sources between computers, the digital output started showing green / red pixels all over the screen

I snapped a shot off my iphone since screen capture showed nothing.

I was screwing around trying to get rid of it then naturally I hit the monitor and it went away.

Is this someone I should be concerned about? I do still have this under warranty from Samsung.

Probably just some sort of glitch in the signal processing. Memory error or something. If it's only happened this one time, not repeatable, and it's not returned.

I wouldn't worry about it.

LCD's are mostly solid state, your hit on the monitor may have just been a coincidence with it normally realigning itself. Or it may have a lose, wiggly data cable inside somewhere.
