recommendation for wireless more and keyboard

Looking for a wireless gaming keyboard and mouse. My couch will be about 10' away from the pc. Need something with fairly decent battery life that only needs to be changed every 6 months. I have a older logitech wave seems to drain battery quite fast and the distance doesn't seem so good.

The only good wireless gaming mice I know of are the Logitech G700(s) and the Razer Orochi.

Yes the k400 is good thats what i used for my htpc.

I use it too but the track pad is very annoying, I find myself clicking and dragging folders or desktop items all the time just trying to scroll around.

what I should have asked is if it works with a smart tv? Using the tv remote to browse the net sucks....

I think i decided to go wired 10' usb extension with the corsair vengeance m65. Now i need to figure a wired keyboard for under 50.
