because I know nothing about these anymore. Looking for a reliable 1tb drive.
 
I just picked up one of the Inland drives from the Hot Deals section thread and haven't been disappointed. It's a Phison E12 controller if you reference that other post.

Same! Great performance at an amazing price point.
 
Reliable is the wrong word. I think "reliable" is a default attribute when it comes to todays NVME drives.

(Speed + Capacity)/Price = Value is what you're looking at, so how much do you want to spend and what performance are you happy with?

Also, laptop or desktop? I believe some laptops require the drive to be single-sided, and may not even allow for the typical 80mm length.
