Hi all,
Last week I received invoices from a Canadian furniture company saying that I had bought about $80K of furniture. This is obviously bogus. Coincidentally, I received another phishing email a few years ago from a Canadian (located in the same area) that I purchased a really expensive diamond ring.
Here's details of this "company":
Omega Custom Furniture & Design Inc
1667A Columbia Street
North Vancouver, B.C. V7J 1A5
Tel:604-988-6683
Fax:604-988-6599
email[email protected]
I know that the scammers probably used the info of a legit company to con other people, but what's weird this time is that all I can find on Google is information about this company and nothing about a possible scam at all.
Have you all received a phishing email like this before?
Cheers,
Nicolas
Edit: I didn't notice this before, but the emoticon in the email is an ironic giveaway to this little scam operation .
