I am going from WinXP to Win7 Home Premium. I mention this because I never learned the Vista way of doing things.
I am looking for a resource to explain Win7 networking. I am interested in an explanation of personal file-sharing, how the built-in firewall works (including how to manually add exceptions), what encryption is used for Homegroups, etc.
I have a high level of understanding of networking. My main thing is that I do not have the time to find a bunch of web articles piecing together the overall picture. I would like one book to look at, or if someone could recommend some in-depth web articles I would appreciate it.
