So I finally got the bright idea to try playing World of Warcraft on my TV -- so I connected it to my smallest gaming rig using a DVI cable.
So the display works, but not as I thought it would. Odds are my DVI cable isn't the best quality, cause I notice a very slight amount of distortion. But the resolution is what's way off -- cuts off the picture all around. Only two resolutions are offered -- 720x480 and 1920x1080. Anyone with this TV, or experience with these types of TVs have any idea? When in 720x480, the screen's at least somewhat usable.. I can see a tiny sliver of the Task bar at the bottom, including some of the icons on my desktop. In 1920x1080, I can't see ANYTHING, and text is somewhat difficult to read. I assume that's cause of my cable.
