rate my new am2 build

The M2N32 is a kickass board, but you could save a bit and lose very little performance by getting a M2N-SLI instead. That Corsair ram is running very well in my M2N32 :)

$210 for a budget rig motherboard? Find a cheaper board and put that money toward an X2 when it drops down to the mid-$100 range, or better yet a quality case and PSU.

I guess you already have your hard disk and optical drives?

I do agree with waiting a bit for price cuts and getting a dual-core CPU though. Single core is on the way out, and the benefits from dual-core will only get greater as time goes on.

depends what he wants, if he is going budget to upgrade soon then its not a bad thing. I went budget just to move up platforms becuz my agp/socket a stuff was aging and it would cost too much to upgrade a a high end PC all at once when conroe is established
