You may be on to something.Looks like the longer format (22110) is to accommodate capacitors (the yellow pieces in the middle of the board obscured by the label) for power-loss protection. Usually that's an enterprise-grade feature, but Lite-On isn't really known for operating in that space.
Came here to post this, first time I've seen a Liteon branded product since I built a full PC tower back in college. Don't think I've used a DVD drive since then.Liteon, have not seen that brand in like 15-20 years lol.. cd/dvdroms etc if I remember right from back in the day
I have a liteon SSD 120GB 2.5 inch in one of my PCs.
I would buy Liteon again. I remember using them for DVD drives
Nice, amazon had the pny 3k nvme 1 TB for like $64 for prime visa holders last week, basically 109 minus 35% off coupon minus 20% cb to your prime card.guys roguecast has the Crucial or Corsair P1 or the P2 idk really know my SSDs but they have it for $79 I do believe. i'm too lazy to go look and see what it actually is but not lazy enough to not pass along the seeds of a good deal
