Radeon HD 7950 doesn't leave out of power saving mode

I'm using the latest drivers 12.6. Before with the 12.4 drivers every time I would leave power saving mode I would get the video drivers crash popup but the computer would at least awake. But now sometimes it just won't leave the power saving state. I also don't get the drivers crash popup anymore. I have to hold down the power button on the computer to shut off the computer though.
