Radeon 9700 pro and iceberq 4 installation

I have a question about installing a new hsf on my radeon 9700 pro. What is the best way to get the old sticky compound off of the chip without damaging it before i apply the new thermal compound and then the iceberq 4?

use some nailpolish remover then some isopropyl alcohol.
Worked for me.

It worked and I finally have better cooling on my 9700 pro!

Maybe it will stop overheating now
