Radeon 2600 Pro vs XT - 1080p

Can't get any video acceleration from the built in video on intel G33, so I'm looking at PCI-E cards for my HTPC. Radeon 2600 seems the best choice, but can't find any info if there is a difference between the Pro and XT versions. I'd prefer Pro as it works at lower frequency and voltage, but will XT produce better picture?

No, the pro is fine. the 2400 will produce the same picture as a 2600

This is true but I don't think I have ever seen a review with that had both the pro and xt with 1080p. The xt is only $20 more I would get that just in case something is neutered on the pro card.
