R7 2700 for $220 with Prime

The good news is that if you pair this up with a recent board, you will be able to upgrade to the Zen 2 without having to buy a new board.

Anyone know if the ASUS board that is also available with this as a bundle is any good? I was planning on switching to AMD with Zen 2, but I don't want to throw away $340 for the board + processor for no reason.

Not really, but I'm not sure you would notice unless you're OCing heavily. I mean the 2700 non-x is a 65W part. The VRM's on that board aren't great and the onboard sound is inferior compared to the Realtek 1220 on other boards.
