I just put into service two R9 290s.
This: SAPPHIRE 100362SR Radeon R9 290
And this: XFX Double D R9 290
I'm using cgminer 3.7.2 in Ubuntu.
On my 270X models and the 280X model all the GPU readings while running are reported correctly.
With the 290s the voltage readback is always zero and the engine frequency set "can" be off a few megahertz.
The frequency offset doesn't bother me as that may just be a result of the divider, but I would like to be able to read the volts correctly.
Any one else notice this?
I tried sgminer 4.1.0 but my hash rates were way off, the fan speeds were missing from the display and I did not see a way to adjust clocks in real time.
