I called to get an additional license to allow my assistant to log into my QB Pro 2009 (single user). They of course said I need to buy 2 licenses.. one to upgrade, and one more for the new user. Their price was 380 for 2, and it would be a single license for 2 users, which "links" them together for the data file automatically somehow..
On amazon, I can get 2 new retail licenses for 100 dollars cheaper for the pair, but the Intuit rep said that they wont be linked and I will need an IT professional to link it for me.. seems like BS to me. anyone have any experience adding users to Quickbooks?
