Hey-
One of my teachers asked me if there was some kind of very simple guide online (that he can print out) that I knew of that would show him how to install an ethernet card in his computer at home. He just got Cable Internet, the tech gave him an ethernet card but didn't install it for him (go figure).
I couldn't find anything simple on Linksys or D-Link's sites, anyone have some good instruction guides for this?

Any help will be appreciated,
Thanks,
Jeff

does he have another conection? Just thinking he won't be able to get to the site if the NIC isn't installed. If he is using a newer Windows, just insert the NIC and it should be auto detected and installed.

When he buys the ethernet card, it should come with instructions. Try support.dell.com for support docs.

The ISP gave him the NIC and it just came with a floppy disk. Would there be instructions on the disk?
