Quick Anytime Upgrade Question

I've never done this, so I'm left with a quick question. My wife's laptop is currently running W7 x64 Home Premium. If we have a legit key for Professional, it is just as simple as clicking the Change Key link in the Computer Properties screen and inputting the new key? We're talking about getting a small Dell SFF to be a domain controller at home, and I'd need to upgrade her laptop's version. I could do a clean install, but this way would be much simpler, if this is the procedure.

A buddy of mine in my office just used it to upgrade his Starter to Home Premium - he said it was ridiculously easy. Just selected the Anytime Upgrade from the Start menu, put in the new key, and away he went.
