i have noticed that a lot has changed since my last overclock (x3210)

I have a Xeon e3-1220 v2. Ivy bridge, 3.1ghz quad core(3.5ghz on turbo boost)

However back in the day we could run the piss out of the FSB (now seems that is called BCLK) but there were dividers to keep everything at or near stock when OC’ing a cpu via FSB

But anything over 104 or 105 is not stable at all on this chip...

I’m using an Asus p8z77-v LK... any words of wisdom? Or is it just a waste of time?
