Hi, I haven't sold in a while but am about to list some things. Are there any free picture hosting site that are allowed to be used for posting pic's of items?

Saw the below sites posted from doing a search. Are these sites okay to use in the FS/FT forum?

http://hardforum.houkouonchi.net/
http://min.us/
http://imgur.com/

Looking to sell some HTPC cases and a STACKER 832 plus a couple 460 GTXs. I usually like to post pictures also to help out with selling things.

Thanks in advance-Nick "NACZ3"

Many people around here just use Photobucket or ImageShack.us or the like. I'm very loyal to the second, because it doesn't make your image go away from using too much bandwidth (!) the way Photobucket seems to do fairly often.

meh, I use Photobucket, I have about 575MB worth of pics there and have only used 5% of my allotted bandwidth so I guess I'm allotted somewhere near 10GBs, I'm good with that and some of these are pics that I have had on there for years although admittedly not all are linked, some are lying in wait for the right moment, they also have a Firefox app that let's you hover over a pic, right click and upload directly to your account...

hope that helps somewhat...

well, to round out the options
I vote for imgur. simple clean interface, no bandwidth caps. Used very often for reddit posts as well which can get thousands of hits quickly.
in fact, imgur might have been started by a redditor... hmmmm. i dont remember.

I`ll throw a bone and a recommendation to Leet Leech. Batch uploading, as well as URL uploading...multiple link formats...pretty simply really...

Imageshack for me, although recently they've been Aholes with their direct links

imgur(pronounced im-ag-er) all the way. It was launched by a redditor and he is supposedly doing pretty well with ad revenue on the site. I think it is great that you don't have to log in or sign up to upload random pictures.

We don't really care which site(s) you use. I don't know of any off the top of my head that are banned, but if they are, they'll simply not work because the URL will be filtered. So no worries :)
