I was going to ask about if I needed to re-activate or have problems re-activating if I upgrade my mobo/cpu/ram but I did some google searches and found I will most likely have to re-activate. I can understand that from their EULA.
The question I have now is the following. Would it be worth my time to just tear down the computer and rebuilt it with the upgrade then update all the drivers?
I knew about all of this kind of stuff with the 9x and xp days. I have not had a chance to play around with major upgrades to 7 though. Would it be worth it to use the same win7 install with the new hardware or should I just format the drive and re-install/re-activate with a clean install? Does win7 handle these kind of updates well or not?
