Unless I am blind or stupid (possible) it doesn't say anything about ad-blocking in the rules. This is my first time reading the "Forum Help & Feedback" section and I didn't know until now about the rule on ad blocking. Since people are being banned for using ad-blocking (see this thread), wouldn't it make sense to put it in the official rules? Not everyone reads this section (like me) but hopefully everyone reads the rules.

Anyway I may be wrong and please feel free to correct me and delete this thread. Thanks.

First of all, the sticky only addresses discussing adblocking, not adblocking itself. Also, it seems like the guy in that thread was given fair warning. Also also, there have been threads about this exact thing.

http://hardforum.com/showthread.php?t=910356 for example.

Sorry I tried searching but the search wouldn't work, so I didn't find any other threads on this.

I know what the sticky says, however the guy in that thread wasn't aware of the rule as far as I know because he said he hadn't read the stickies. Also, I don't know how you think he was given fair warning, he did it, was warned, said it didn't matter now (cause he had already done it) didn't do it again, and was still banned. How is that fair warning? All I'm trying to say is if it is a rule, why not put it in the rules so that everone will (or should) see it.?

Thanks for your thoughts on this.
