I'm addicted to this place, the ADBLOCKING sticky mentions "discussions" about adblocking, I'm just asking because our filter at work is run by retards and sometimes the ads get blocked. In fact, they have the [H] blocked for "shopping" category (lol) and the forums blocked as "message boards". Obviously, I have the override password but I wouldn't want to get a vacation because some half-wit is trying to deny access to ads (of course all the major ones that cause me malware hassels and cleaning out user computers go through :rolleyes: ) For the most part I'm bored at work and need this place to keep from going on the warpath! :D
 
Whats your point here dude?

Saying you block ads or you have block ads on your PC is like asking to be banned.
 
Your dumb. I will try to speak in retard for you....i do not have direct control of the web filter at work. I cannot control what the maniacs are doing...i'm asking if by connecting at work would it be an issue. I do not actively block ads, but at work its out of my hands. But thanks for your "help" :rolleyes:
 
i say its more of a don't ask don't tell kind of thing, i am sure that there are plenty of members that do activly block the ads (that new bright green newegg one is pissing me off beyond belief right now) and they can't "catch you" for blocking the ads.
 
It is a 'we don't ask, you don't tell policy. I believe that the sticky also says something about no discussion...oh yeah here it is " This will be the only warning with no discussion" and that pretty much sums it up. ;)
