I am having to RMA my video card thru NewEgg
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814130056

Since the no longer carry this card, what will the replacment be? Will it be as good as the card i have now?

I am planning on ordering a new card anyways since i dont feel like waiting for 2 weeks for the RMA.
Looking at this card

Any thoughts about this card?

Also looking at this one local
http://www.circuitcity.com/ssm/Visi...78227/catOid/-13043/rpem/ccd/productDetail.do
It is $150 local

I have always used Nvidia cards, but i have heard good things about the 1950

I dont play alot of games, but i do play WOW quite a bit and plan on getting the new UT
when it comes out

Any suggestions on what card to get?

Theres a good chance that they will just refund you what you paid for it. This is what they did when I had to RMA a video card that wasn't in stock.

When you do get your new card I would get the 8600GT as it is a DX10 card and UT3 will most likely be able to use the card to its fullest. the X1950 is only DX9.

Even if you have Windows XP still, the 8600GT will be a better choice as it is more future proof and will perform just as good if not better than the X1950.

i will be sticking to XP for a while. That would be nice if they just refunded me, then i could run 2 of the 8600GTS
