Question about Mass Effect (1) download via EA Store

Saw the promo code for 5 bucks and have been told by several people that the game is worth playing, so I bit. Not particularly fond of the download manager, but what worries me even more is that it appears I may have to keep the damn thing installed in order to play the game... can anyone confirm or deny this?

You should be able to redownload it at least a few times. There's a limit on the amount of times you can reinstall, at least for the DVD version. I've reinstalled it about 3-4 times, and havn't had any problems

im pretty sure that you can just call and get you install limit increased if you reach the limit. had to do that with crysis and its an ea game
