So I am researching cases for the next PC build. These 2 look clean and have good reviews. Neither comes with fans. Are they supposed to be operated that way? I assumed any build would need at least 1-2 fans for proper airflow. What would be the best fan configuration?

For the rest of build it should be Intel 8600k, gtx 1070ti, 120mm aio liquid cooler or Cooler Master Hyper 212. Overclocking would be conservative.

I've built many a system with these cases and you will want fans, ESPECIALLY with the build you are looking at. The best results come from fans on the bottom sucking in.

The 303 has room for 3x120mm fans at the top, but the PSU will block one of them. it's also significantly bigger than the 101.

Also: These are exceptional cases, fantastic quality, looks and and tool free entry. I would recommend them but I always build them with a good 3-pack of 120mm fans. Consider it an added cost.

down with the aio lol...we are just too mission critical over here lol...please don't put a damn aio on anything ever agian lol

I don't like the noise of an h115i on a 770k
My buddy hates his x62 on an 8700k.

Yes, the aio's kept those peaks 80's down better than my cryorig h5, but either of them sound ratty and just need some better fans.

For the record the Cryorig was not a bad air cooler, Noctua is better.

I wouldn't use a 120mm, and plan on a fan upgrade.

The PC builder offers Asetek 550lc and Corsair H60 among other all in ones. I have the H60 now and it works just fine. They also offer Deepcool Gammaxx and Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo. I think the performance on all of these is close for mild overclocks. I wish they carried the True Spirit, that is my favorite bang for the buck cooler.

What would be the recommended fan config on the In Win 101? Also, what are the pros and cons of the In Win 303 vs the 101?
