Just gonna quote a bit from the article...
A forum response points out that the C&D also affected a "legitimate" (quotation marks because all redistribution of GPL stuff is legitimate in actuality) GitHub account from Qualcomm's own open source team.
Qualcomm, actively hindering users from being able to use your hardware is not good business. And it certainly proves that I've been right to bitch about Qualcomm in previous threads here.
An alternative is needed.
