Quake 2 RTX - RTX 2080 Super

Hi. Is this normal? I am getting 35 fps in QUAKE 2 RTX On 1440P with all HIGH. Resolution scale 100%.
Card is Rtx 2080 Super Aorus Waterforce and 9700K.
 
Its pretty much a 1080p game. Fun tho :)

Getting Started
1.) Ensure you have the recommended system specifications
2.) Have the latest Game Ready Driver installed.
3.) Install Quake II RTX. a.) Please see installer instructions below
4.) Launch Quake II RTX via desktop shortcut.
5.) Set Recommended Settings a.) Go to Video -> Set desired Global Illumination Setting (Recommended: Medium) b.) Set desired resolution (Recommended: 1080p) c.) Go back and click Game -> Choose desired difficulty.

I mean if RTX 2080 Super will be enough for raytracing game on future?or too weak?
 
Yeah because on Control,Metro Exodus there is not full raytracing path like on Quake 2 rtx. :) On Metro is only global allumination?:)
