The 4 2.5" bays are perfect for SSD drives and using the QNAP download manager to download torrents directly to the SSD drives, then copy the completed images over to spinning rust in the 3.5" bays.

I don't have any experience with QNAP but it seems like a pretty good unit. I ended up tossing a couple old SSDs in my Synology so those 2.5 bays would come in handy.
