Am now running a Gigabyte EP45-UD3P with a Q9550 (at 3400Mhz and 400Mhz FSB and)

Settings are

Vcore 1.25v
PLL 1.5v
CPU Term 1.2v
CPU Ref 0.76v

It looks stable, but do these setting "seem right"?

I keep reading about dangerous PLL voltages and 45nm chips being destroyed by setting PLL to high? So what's normal?

Regards
James

try lowering it then if ya think its bad.. kinda odd you had to changed the pll voltage.. i just got done overclocking a q9550 for a friend to 4ghz.. without touching anything but the vcore which was set at 1.25v

Thanks. Looks like I can go to 1.21250v (Vcore). Any lower and I get prime errors
