Q6600 Temps, running Prime95 uneven cooling or normal for Quad?

Ran Prime95 on my Q6600 (no O/C's) and got the following temps:

Core 0 44
Core 2 37
Core 3 38
Core 1 40

Are the temperature ranges (37-44) normal? I see about the same temp difference between low and high even at idle (6-7 degrees) with Core 0 at highest. Or is this indicative of uneven cooling? Using a Zalman 9500 (looking to get a 9700NT) and with it's screw down method of securing, it's never been the most even way of doing things.

Also this was Blended testing, are my temps with normal range? Room temp is usually 72 degrees. Also has anyone gone from a Zalman 9500 to 9700 and was their noticeable improvement (though mostly looking to get PWM connector on the 9700NT).

Thanks,

It's not unusual to have a bit of difference on Quads (Generally 0+1 vs 2+3 will have the most difference) though 7 degrees is a little more than most. You could try reseating your HSF, but some of it is most likely inherent to the chip.

Do it again and see if the differences are still around the same and show some consistency.
