Are there any Q&A experts out there? The company I work for is looking at dropping Q&A for a newer database program. You know, one with a windows GUI. :) At any rate, have any of you had experience with this? If so, what would you recommend? ACT!? Access? Sesame? What's the best way to convert the old databases?

I appreciate the help and input!

Depending on what program you have been using, and what program you are going to use...

Most newer programs should have the tools to import various older database formats. If you give specific program names/file formats maybe we can help you.

I used Q&A at my old job, i forget most of it but I knew that thing like the back of my hand.. it is pretty damn old though

specialized enough I thought this question might get a better response here ;)

relocated to Wm&P

Yeah it depends on what we wants to use no? Like in SQL Server he may very well be able to use it's DTS (Data Transformation Services) feature.

Access will not import it and it's MUCH older than XML, lol.

I'll try to post exported formats later.
