Pump mounted on top rear fan.

Id love to have my pump/ res visible from case window, and the only way to do it in my h440 is (apart from cutting side panel and using bigger glass and I don't want to bother with it) to use vertical pump holder and place the pump res at the top rear exhaust fan.

Will there be any drawback to the solution of having pump almost at the top of the loop?
 
I was contemplating the same situation using the Monsoon Modular Reservoir System (MMRS for short) and the Thermaltake Core X2 case. I wanted the res visible and hanging it from the top rad mount was a good option. Then I realized it would make bleeding and draining much harder so I decided I'm going to split the pump from the res. The res will still stay at the top but the pump is going to go on the bottom. This will make the system much easier to fill, bleed, and drain. The tubing run will be a little easier too.

Just my two cents...
