Playerunknown's Battlegrounds is temporarily free on the Microsoft Store, assuming you have an Xbox One and an Xbox Live Gold subscription. PubG normally costs $30, so if you've held off on playing the game, now might be a good time to jump in. Meanwhile, Eurogamer thinks that the game is coming to PS4 in December. In light of PubG's falling player count, Sony's landmark decision to allow Fortnite crossplay on the PS4, and a "big" PubG announcement coming on November 10, PubG could possibly get cross-platform play sometime soon.

PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds comes out on PlayStation 4 in December - one year after it hit Xbox One as a timed console exclusive. Video game analyst Daniel Ahmad took to ResetEra to say the battle royale game was coming to Sony's console next month, and Eurogamer understands this to be true.

Hard to imagine they're happy about deciding to take MS's bribe check to keep it off PS4 for a year, and losing all those potential sales. Problem is they only had a small window to make all their sales before they lost their status as the big thing. Fortnite was already eating Pube G alive; limiting themselves to Xbox only accelerated their slide into irrelevancy.

Taking MS's bribe check to keep PUBG off of PS4 for a year, and crippling their potential sales at a time Fortnite was eating them alive anyway, was probably not the wisest move since it only accelerated the slide into irrelevancy.

without seeing that check.. its hard to say. it could have been quite worthwhile

too late, you lost your market. next time focus on bugs instead of cosmetics. not that it matters at this point, blue balls entertainment is laughing its way to the bank all year

The servers for that game are still up? It might have only been a year but damn it seems like a decade since that game was popular.

Yeah PUBG feels like the myspace of Battle Royale. Not hard to deduce who "Facebook" is.
