PSU, what to buy?

Hi, atm my WHS consist of 20 drives (various sizes, 4 400GB, 5 500GB, 10 1TB, 4 1.5TB) and that is all powered with corsair HX620. My case, lianli pc343, have space for 16 more drives and I wondering what type of PSU to go with. Would 750w be enough, or should I go with hx1000w?

On system boot (spin-up) the wattage mater shows spikes around 610-630w of drawing, but when all drives spin up the power goes down to 250w.

Btw, does supermicro sat2 pcix card support delayed spin up?

Just straight for the Corsair 1000HX 1000W PSU just to make sure you don't have to upgrade for awhile.

What kind of controller are you using?
Some controllers allow you to setup staggered spinup.

I'm using Supermicro AOC-SAT2-MV8, but after googling it seams it doesn't support staggered spinup.. Guess I will really go straight for hx1000
