My Ultra LSP-650 fan went out yesterday. Noticed because the house spelled like burnt plastic. It was still on and working but obviously hot. Shut the computer down for safety and placed a call to Ultra for a warranty replacement.

I really don't like any of the Ultra products I have. But they were cheap and got me into a decent system. I'd prefer to buy a higher quality PSU but the free replacement of a warranty will keep me from doing that.

No question, just a statement. God, you sound like a woman... can't I make an just make an observation and not have an opinion? I kid I kid. Yeah I'd like to buy a new one... but right now this will remain a budget system.

Edit: Oh crap, you are a woman, aren't you?

Well, considering Ultra will replace it for free I'm not willing to spend anything. Thanks for the tip on the fan. My concern with that would be that since it was running for a while without me there, and smelled like burnt plastic, it may have been damaged and will always worry me that it's going to catch on fire.
