PS3 steering wheel?

Looking for a good wheel to go with PS3 so i can play GT5

I used to have an xbox with the Microsoft wheel and it kinda sucked...

The only thing I seen after a quick search was the logitech g27 is highly recommended

Can I play with the g27 in my lap or does it need to be mounted?

Any other ideas?

I loved my Driving force gt but had no reason to keep it after finishing gran turismo 5

Racing games are so much more fun with one of these wheels.

Build a stand if you are able to. Otherwise, use a weighted mobile PC desk (or something like that).

Well I ended up buying a g27 and wheel stand pro. Can't wait to get them in. I really suck with controller and its not as fun

I had a g27, worth purchase ever based on the fact that GT5 is the only fun racing game worth playing for ps3 and computer (in my opinion obviously) once I was finished with Gran Turismo I felt bad that I had a $250 steer wheel just collecting dust, thankfully these things have 2nd hand value, and quite a lot.

Yeah I have realized that besides GT5 it won't get much use. I paid 220$ for it, if I get 150$ for it when I'm bored with it...I'll be happy
