I just started. Is it possible to complete all 4 guild questlines and become guildmater of all 4 guilds? Is there an order you need to do them in? Im just worried that if I do thief or assassin first the mages or knights might not like me and not allow me to do there quests.

You most definitely can. I forgot the exact order I did them in, but it was Thieves, Dark Brotherhood, Fighters, and then Mage.

I'd probably do the Dark Brotherhood first because well....it has you kill a lot of people. And you get Shadowmere as a bonus. Then the Thieves' Guild, cause its benefit is pretty sweet. (no spoilers here).

Thanks! I am going to start with the thieves first since that is the first i was invited to. I got thrown in jail and someone must have heard about my deeds and slipped me a message to a secret meeting place. I'll work on seeking out the others after I complete this entire line of quests. Just wanted to make sure that the mages or warriors would still talk to me after I become a thief and murderer lol.

Yeah, the primary "catch" is that, IIRC, every guild will kick you out for killing one of its members (Dark Brotherhood is another story, I won't spoil it ;)), so you might have to do the quest that pops up to get back into it.

Yeah, so I would do the Assassins guild before joining any of the others, to avoid the problems involved with killing one of the other members.
