I have a samsung lcd tv, it only has DVI, no HDMI. It also has built in speakers.
I have a HDMI to DVI cable plugged it from the ps3 to the TV. Output is 1080i, it looks good. I plugged in the white and red rca cables into the tv's av and set sound output to output from the av cables from ps3 sound settings. However, there is no sound when I playing.
I know the issue is that the tv is in DVI channel, so it disables the AV channel, how do I get around this issue? I checked the TV settings, there is no way to enable both channels i have to play using av channel and composite cable to get sound.
are there any cheap speakers that take in the red/white av cables directly?
