Do 1080p game even exist on the PS3? I think the few games I own for it are all 720p and none of them are 1080p. I think MGS4 might be 1080p but I am not sure and if so is that the only one? Anybody know why it is this way? I know that if there is a game I want to play on both consoles I get it for the 360 because it will most likely be 1080p and the PS3 version will not.

Not only that, it is a sticky. It is the third thread down from the top.
I think the reason is gameplay. Developers would rather lock the game at like 30fps and go 720p with smooth gameplay than go to 1080p and risk the framerate suffering. I believe that's what the Killzone2 guys said.
