PS2 keyboard and mouse stop working in games!

Ok I built a new computer and have a clean install of xp but out of no were in games (even in there menus) my ps2 keyboard and mouse just stop responding. After I press the power button to shutdown and windows kills the game I get my keyboard and mouse back.

It happens in all games that I have but does not happen in windows or othe programs.

Is your CPU OC'ed?
Sometimes OCing kills your kills your ps2 ports (temporarily)

Yeah, try a USB set of keyboard/mouse, see if that helps.

be sure you have latest drivers (mouse/keyboard)..if logitech also
USB drivers,Via 4in1 or NFORCE2
